install your webcam
to setup your webcam into your profile do the following...

download and install webcamXP (v2.xx suggested).

you don't need to purchase a license in order to use the software as long as you wish for free inside the community and you'll be able to use all features from the PRO version excepted logo change / ban users / password protection...

here's a small tutorial to be able to broadcast over internet...

the first very important point is the ip address that should be used into webcamXP, run the software and go under "broadcast/web" in case you see an ip starting by 192.168.xx.xx it means that webcamXP is currently using a LAN ip and nobody will see you from internet...

btw keep in mind your lan ip you might need it to configurate your WAN router.

hit the "detect WAN ip" button, webcamXP will search for your WAN ip

your WAN (internet) ip is : 38.107.191.116
your webcamXP broadcasting server should be available here : http://38.107.191.116:8080

at this points if you can see yourself at this address which is your WAN ip it means your router is setted correctly and if other users cannot see you it means there is a firewall blocking access to your port 8080.

if you cannot see yourself on your WAN ip then the configuration part is the most complicated because you have to setup your router, as all routers are different then you'll have to consult your router documentation on how to forward the TCP port 8080 to your LAN ip (192.168.xx.xx)

to get help on how to configurate your router you can also take a look at that site www.portforward.com

once you've done this, other members should be able to see your cam...

to link your webcam automatically to your profile and benefit of the free version for mvc users all you have to do is to go under external server notification under the advanced menu and type in your myvideochat username / password in the correct fields.

it is important that the TCP port 8080 is available so ensure that all firewalls / routers are setted to let you send and receive datas on this port.

no mature content / desktop broadcasting / movies broadcasting are allowed in the community !

do not try to use other software than webcamXP or the broadcaster on mvc!
